Kimberly decided to go into the Orthodontic field while having orthodontic treatment herself. The welcoming environment she received at her appointments made her feel as though theyʼre waiting for her to come in all day.
Kimberly went on to obtain a Certificate in Dental Assisting, Radiology, Coronal Polish, CPR and Ultrasonic scaling in the removal of dental cements. In the fall of 2005 she passed her state boards and became a Registered Dental Assistant with the state of California. By the time her braces were off, Kimberly was already assisting her own patients with the same comfort and support she received during her treatment.
During her career as an RDA, Kimberly has seen many familiesʼ smiles take shape. She has also been lucky enough to attend many Continuing Education courses all over the Western United State, Hawaii being her favorite. She enjoys learning new ideas, techniques and technology that comes out every year.
Kimberly has been with Green Valley Orthodontics since the opening day, May 2011. She has obtained many new skills in the process. Not only does she assist with the patients during treatment, but she can also help answer many questions about financial arrangements and insurance coverage.
You can find Kimberly working in her yard, trying new recipes and getting her hands dirty under the hood. A good challenge should never stop you. Her favorite time is with her family. Kimberly has two great kids and many pets. They enjoy scenic trips, going to the beach, cuddling on the couch with a movie and having fun trying something new.
